The AGA 2019 was held in Kobe, JAPAN

The Annual General Assembly (AGA) 2019 and related events were successfully held in Kobe Portopia Hotel, Kobe City, Japan for the period of 5 days starting 3^rd June to 7^th June.

Outlines of each official meetings and events are introduced below with pictures.

[Day 1] 3^rd June

The week started with ExCom meeting. The meeting was held all day long.

[Day 2] 4^th June

EnviCom and RecCom held each seminar in the morning.

National Sections' Secretaries Meeting was held followed by the Council.

In the evening, Kobe City Government hosted the Welcome dinner at cruise ship "LUMINOUS KOBE -2". Participants enjoyed Kobe Beef!

[Day 3] 5^th June

The day of Annual General Assembly. President Caude stepped down his presidency after this year's AGA. He was nominated as Honorary President and it was approved by unanimous assent of AGA. Mr. Francisco Esteban Lefler was elected new President.

Mr. Richard Wakelen and Mr. Makoto Tanabe gave special lectures on "An Asset Management Overview of River Thames" and "Historical Outline of Port of KOBE".

On this occasion, Mr. Saber Elsayed from Germany was awarded the De Paepe-Willems Award for the first place, and Mr. Yoshinosuke Kurahara from Japan (below) and Mr. Esandi Javier Murgoitio from UK were awarded for the shared second place.

In the evening, Mr. Hiroyuki Geshi, the First Delegate of Japan hosted AGA Dinner at "Sorakuen". They enjoyed Japanese garden party before the dinner.

[Day 4] 6^th June

Technical Seminar was held on the day. The seminar consists of 2 sessions, "Asian session" in the morning and "Technical session" in the afternoon.

[Day 5] 7^th June

Technical tour to Kyoto was conducted. They observed Lake Biwa Canal in Nanzenji temple and Keage Incline.
