High level dialogues were undertaken for expanding PIANC qualifying membership. (2018/4/1) High level dialogues were undertaken for expanding PIANC qualifying membership. High ranking officers from Cambodian government/port community, including Mr. Sun Chanthol, Senior Minister of Ministry of Public Work and Transport (MPWT), were met by the Japanese delegation headed by PIANC Vice President Hiroshi Hayashida in March 2018. Conditions and procedures for joining PIANC were discussed and an agreement was reached including necessary financial arrangements. After these efforts, re-participation of Cambodia to PIANC was materialized.
